Where to find official legal information and guides before you need it

All are courts, agencies, professional bodies or support services.
Every link on this page goes to a court, a government agency, a professional body or an established support service. We keep the list short deliberately, because the internet is full of legal information written for other countries.

They are reliable sources of general information, and they are the right place to start. What they cannot do is tell you how the law applies to your circumstances, which is what a first conversation with us is for.
